Becoming a Private Patient at SWLEOC
SWLEOC is delighted to offer the option of admission to the Elective Orthopaedic Centre as a private patient.
Our objective is to be a world leader in orthopaedic care, using innovation, research and education to provide the highest quality experience for all our patients. SWLEOC has state-of-the-art operating theatres and is committed to minimising infection rates, other potential complications and the length of stay in hospital.
By opting to have your treatment as a private patient, you are assured that there will always be a doctor who can see you in an emergency, along with the support from specially trained orthopaedic nurses and physiotherapy staff. We have a team of senior specialist nurses and a recovery suite with high dependency and critical care facilities. Also, a comprehensive range of orthopaedic support services are available on site.
We welcome patients who are covered by private medical insurance or are paying for themselves as well as patients from overseas. We are proud to offer you a very high quality service providing you with the highest standards of surgical expertise and care, with the benefits of modern technology and high level clinical skills accompanied with the privacy and comfort of a private en-suite room.
Income generated by private patients is invested back in to the centre to assist in supporting and developing the services, facilities and other improvements provided to all our patients.
