Gil Railton qualified in 1977 from the Welsh national school of medicine Cardiff and has been a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Kingston Hospital since 1990. His Orthopaedic training was at the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel.
He is experienced in joint replacement surgery of the hip and knee and performs over two hundred replacements a year.
A substantial portion of his practice is dedicated to arthroscopic surgery of the knee including anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and meniscal surgery.
He has several publications on joint replacement surgery and trauma management.
