Sohail Yousaf

Mr Yousaf is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon is based at Epsom & St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust.

He is fellowship-trained in foot and ankle surgery specialising in all aspects of the management of adult foot and ankle problems. His specialist interests include forefoot problems, tendon disorders, heel pain, sports-related injuries and arthritic conditions affecting the foot and ankle.

He had extensive training in foot and ankle surgery during his specialist training in London and KSS region which was further strengthened with a post-CCT fellowship at Epsom and St Helier hospitals. He has also undertaken a prestigious BOA clinical leader’s fellowship.He continues to perform research in foot and ankle surgery and publish regularly.

He is collaborating with a number of national multicentre studies including the UK Falcon study and a multicentre FAME (Fracture ankle pragmatic RCT) trial. He has presented foot and ankle research around the world.

Mr Yousaf is co-supervisor for BOFAS accredited post-CCT foot and ankle fellowship at Epsom. He is passionate about teaching the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons and setting up foot and ankle speciality in Pakistan. In 2012, he helped to organise the first foot and ankle surgery course and since has been faculty for Pakistan foot and ankle forum courses.
